Correct answer: (C) (i) EG; (ii) 42
Explanation
The code of a two-letter pair is the product of the alphabet positions: EF = 5×6 = 30 and HJ = 8×10 = 80. In the circle, each sector is opposite its partner (EF–30, HJ–80, FG–?, ...). The sector opposite "35" is entry (i): 35 = 5×7 = EG. The sector opposite FG is entry (ii): FG = 6×7 = 42. So (i) EG and (ii) 42.
