Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (C) 0.0625

Explanation

On a gas-mole-fraction driving-force basis, $1/K_y=1/k_y+m/k_x$, where equilibrium slope m = 2. Gas-film resistance is 1/0.1 = 10 and liquid contribution is 2/3. Their total is 32/3. The liquid fraction is $(2/3)/(32/3)=1/16=0.0625$, option C. Resistances must be converted to the same driving-force basis before taking the ratio.
