Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: (A) 4:3
Explanation
Year 2 total cost is 200×2=400. If its total sales revenue is S₂, then 0.87S₂−400=296, giving S₂=800. Year 3 total cost is 300×1=300, so 0.85S₃−300=210, giving S₃=600. Hence the ratio of total selling prices is 800:600=4:3, A. Using per-unit selling prices would answer a different question.
