Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (C) P is not opposite Q

Explanation

Fix R to remove rotational symmetry and number seats around the table, choosing the rightward direction as increasing. Then U occupies seat two and T seat five. Place the opposite S,W pair in the remaining seats and require V adjacent to S. In each permitted placement, the two seats left for P,Q are not opposite; swapping P and Q cannot change this. Thus C is forced, whereas their individual neighbour relationships are not.
