Find the magnitude of the gradient of f(x,y)=x²+y² at (1,1), to two decimals.

Explanation

The gradient is (2x,2y). At (1,1) it equals (2,2), with Euclidean magnitude √(2²+2²)=√8=2√2≈2.828427. Rounded to two decimals the result is 2.83.
