Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (C) Either I or II alone is sufficient.

Explanation

Statement I fixes each pole at 4×5=20 kg, so the ten weigh 200 kg. It is sufficient alone.

Independently, Statement II gives 10w−2w=160, hence w=20 kg and the same total 200 kg. Therefore either statement alone determines the answer: **C**.
