Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (C) P is not opposite Q.

Explanation

Number seats0–7 in a direction where U is two steps after R. Fix R0,U2,T5. S and W must occupy3 and7, the only remaining opposite pair. If S3 then V4 and P,Q occupy1,6; if S7 then V6 and P,Q occupy1,4. Neither remaining pair is opposite. Thus C always holds; P and Q can interchange, so A and B need not.
