Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (A) 300

Explanation

The heat rate is $\frac{24000}{60} = 400$ kW. The most work comes from a reversible (Carnot) engine, with efficiency $1 - \frac{300}{1200} = 0.75$. So the maximum power is $0.75 \times 400 = 300$ kW.
