What is the percentage, correct to one decimal place, of higher education institutions (colleges and universities) that fall into Grade III?

Correct answer: (A) 22.7

Explanation

Grade III universities: $0.07 \times 504 = 35.28$. Grade III colleges: $0.23 \times 25951 = 5968.73$. The total in Grade III is $6004.01$ out of $504 + 25951 = 26455$ institutions, which is $\frac{6004.01}{26455} = 22.7\%$.
