Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (A) Fat: Plump: Voluptuous; (B) Short: Small: Petite

Explanation

Thin, slim and slender are near-synonyms that become more positive in tone. Fat, plump and voluptuous and short, small and petite follow the same pattern. “Tall, taller, tallest” are degrees of comparison, and “fair, dark, wheatish” are different complexions.
