If Soni got an intelligence score of 115, then what percentage of the population (%, as given in the graph) will have intelligence scores higher than the score obtained by Soni? (rounded off to 2 decimal places)

A normal curve of intelligence scores. Marked scores run from 55 ($-3$ SD) to 145 ($+3$ SD) with the mean 100. The percentage of the population in each band is: below $-3$ SD 0.13%, $-3$ to $-2$ SD 2.14%, $-2$ to $-1$ SD 13.59%, $-1$ SD to the mean 34.13%, the mean to $+1$ SD 34.13%, $+1$ to $+2$ SD 13.59%, $+2$ to $+3$ SD 2.14% and above $+3$ SD 0.13%.

Correct answer: 15.78 to 15.94

Explanation

A score of 115 is one standard deviation above the mean of 100. The percentages of the population above it are the three bands to its right: $13.59 + 2.14 + 0.13 = 15.86$.
