Correct answer: (C) 10
Explanation
**Step 1: cost of Q.** The costs of P and Q are in the ratio $3:4$ and P costs ₹5400:
$$\text{Cost of Q}=5400\times\frac43=₹7200 .$$
**Step 2: selling price of Q.** Q is sold at a profit of 25% on cost:
$$SP_Q=7200\times1.25=₹9000 .$$
**Step 3: discount.** The marked price of Q is ₹10 000, so the discount is $10\,000-9000=₹1000$.
**Step 4: percentage of marked price.**
$$\frac{1000}{10\,000}\times100=\mathbf{10\%}.$$
(The marked price and cost of P are not needed.)
