Suresh wants to carpet a 70 m × 55 m area in his mansion, leaving 550 m² for flower pots. At Rs 50/m², how much will the carpet cost?

Explanation

The carpet covers the whole floor except the part kept for flower pots.

1. Total area $=70\times55=3850$ m².
2. Carpeted area $=3850-550=3300$ m².
