Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (B) It is an adult’s memory of what he or she liked as a child.

Explanation

When I was a kid and I used to imagine indicate retrospective narration by someone recalling childhood preferences.

Thus **B**, an adult’s memory, is supported. Partial to means fond of, rather than reading only parts, and the passage makes no general recommendation about children.
