Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: (B) 5
Explanation
If 5 appeared in any product, the common product would be divisible by 5, forcing 5 into all three groups because no other integer from 1 to 9 is a multiple of 5. No letter belongs to all three groups, and distinctness prevents repeating 5. Therefore 5 cannot be used (B).
