Find the average of all multiples of 10 from 2 to 198.

Correct answer: (B) 100

Explanation

The multiples are10,20,…,190, an arithmetic progression. Its mean is the average of its endpoints,(10+190)/2=**100,B**. Neither2 nor198 is a multiple of10 and therefore neither is included.
