What is the smallest number with distinct digits whose digits add up to 45?

Explanation

The digits 1 to 9 sum to 45 and all are distinct. Any number with fewer digits cannot reach 45 with distinct digits, and adding 0 does not change the sum but only makes the number longer. The smallest arrangement of these digits is 123456789.
