Correct answer: (B) Only (ii).

Explanation

Label the central vertical-line face C, the triangular-mark face above it U, the horizontal-line face below it D, and the half-shaded end face B. Folding gives opposite pairs U–D, C–B, and the two side arms. Cube (i) puts the L-shaded face in front, the triangle at right and a line-mark face on top. Its top cannot be D because D is opposite U. If its top is C, the net requires the white corner of the L-face to meet C and U at their common vertex, but the drawing puts that white corner at the opposite corner. Thus (i) is impossible. Cube (ii) puts the triangle, corner patch and half-shaded face at mutually adjacent positions with the required shading orientations. Hence **only (ii), B**.
