Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (A) DNA is composed of nucleotides.; (C) Each backbone phosphate links two deoxyribose units in a strand.

Explanation

DNA is a nucleotide polymer with the usual four bases A, T, G, C. Internal backbone phosphates form3′–5′ phosphodiester links between adjacent deoxyribose units. Base pairing enforces A=T and G=C, rather than A=G. Thus the intended correct statements are **A, C**. C describes backbone phosphates; terminal phosphate end groups are a qualification to its word each.
