Correct answer: (B) 2; (C) 3
Explanation
The polynomial factors $(x-2)(x-3)(x-5)$. Thus its roots are2,3,5,but only 2 and 3 are listed. Select **B, C**. Substituting1 gives−8 and 4 gives−2,so A, D fail.
