GATE 2013 CS (CS1) – Question 31
Which does NOT represent XNOR of x,y?
Practise this question in The GATE Grind →
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: (D) $\bar x\oplus\bar y$
Explanation
Complementing exactly one XOR input inverts XOR and gives XNOR, while complementing both preserves XOR. Thus D is XOR, not XNOR. A is the equality sum-of-products and B,C each complement one input.
