Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: (C) Impregnation
Explanation
Impregnation fills the interconnected pores of a sintered bearing with lubricant, providing an internal oil reservoir during service. Thus C. Infiltration instead commonly introduces a molten second metal and is a different densification/material-combination operation.
