Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: 128500 to 128800

Explanation

Compound population first: X=175000×1.0085¹⁰=190457.0592. Substitute this unrounded value into Y=142+0.675X to obtain 128700.5149 daily trips. Rounding the final result gives 128701 trips/day. The annual growth fraction is 0.0085; the fitted trip coefficient is then applied to the future population.
