Correct answer: 118000 to 122000

Explanation

Original total value is 500×1200=₹600000. After 40% deduction the plot is 300 m², worth 300×2800=₹840000. Total-value gain is₹240000. Betterment cost takes half, ₹120000, leaving a net benefit of₹120000. Compare total plot values rather than unit prices alone.
