In one of the pairs of protocols given below, both the protocols can use multiple TCP connections between the same client and the server. Which one is that?

Correct answer: (A) HTTP, FTP

Explanation

HTTP can open several parallel connections to fetch the objects of a page, and FTP uses one connection for control and another for data. TELNET and SMTP use a single TCP connection between the client and the server.
