Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (A) reprove

Explanation

A smile, a giggle and a laugh show the same feeling with growing intensity. To disapprove, to reprove and to chide are three growing degrees of criticism, so "reprove" fits. "Praise" is the opposite feeling, "reprise" means to repeat and "grieve" means to be sad.
