Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (A) (i) wood, (ii) cellulose fibers, (iii) lignin

Explanation

Paper is made from wood. In wood, the cellulose fibres are held together by lignin, which acts like a glue. Pulping removes the lignin so the cellulose fibres are freed.
