Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (C) Myelin sheath

Explanation

The myelin sheath is the fatty, white insulating layer around many axons. It lets the nerve impulse jump between the gaps in it, which makes conduction much faster. The cell membrane is the covering of the neuron itself, and the cleft is the gap between two neurons.
