Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (B) Experimental Groups must include different participants.; (C) Control and Experimental Groups must include unmatched participants.

Explanation

Factorial ANOVA and multiple regression belong to the same general linear model, so A is true, and a factorial ANOVA gives both main effects and interaction effects, so D is true. The groups do not have to be made of different participants (repeated-measures factorial designs use the same people), and they do not have to be unmatched (matched groups are allowed). So B and C are not true.
