Correct answer: (C) 10.00

Explanation

Let the larger side be L. Then $L^2=4(L-5)^2$. Positive sides give $L=2(L-5)$, so **L = 10 cm, C**. The smaller side is 5 cm and the area ratio is 100/25 = 4.
