Liquid iron is cast into a spherical sand mould of radius 6 cm and a cubical sand mould of edge 12 cm. The sphere solidifies in 60 minutes. The cube requires ______ minutes (nearest integer).

Explanation
Chvorinov’s rule uses the same mould constant and (V/A)². For the sphere V/A=r/3=2 cm; for the cube V/A=a/6=2 cm. Equal moduli give equal times, **60 minutes**.
