Explanation

Count forward cyclically through the26letter alphabet. W→E→K→O has gaps8,6,4; I→Q→W→A and F→N→T→X have the same gaps. N→V→B→D has gaps8,6,2. Therefore **N,V,B,D,D** is the odd group.
