GATE 2023 PI – Question 27
Engineering Mathematics · Numerical Methods · 1 mark · Numerical answer

Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: 0.50 to 0.70
Explanation
Euler’s update is $y_1=y_0+h f(x_0,y_0)$. At (0,1), f = −4. Thus $y_1=1+0.1(-4)=\mathbf{0.60}$.
