Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: (C) 2/3
Explanation
A flip acts as reflection of the shaded pattern about the chosen diameter while interchanging faces. Compare both views for each of the three marked axes: one preserves the pattern and two change it. Thus the probability of retaining it is 1/3 and the complementary probability is 1−1/3=**2/3, C**.
