Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: 1 to 1

Explanation

A fixed sinusoidal curve is a one-dimensional path. Although its position may be expressed using two Cartesian coordinates, they are related by the curve equation. One independent parameter, such as arc length or an appropriate coordinate along the curve, determines the position. Thus the particle has one degree of freedom.
