Correct answer: (B) Face-left and face-right options

Explanation

A non-transit telescope cannot be rotated through180° about its horizontal axis to reverse its face in the usual transit operation. Thus B is the distinguishing missing option. Reading scales, levelling devices and sighting cross-hairs can still be present.
