Among 150 faculty members in an institute, 55 are connected with each other through Facebook® and WhatsApp® accounts, 85 are connected through WhatsApp®. 30 faculty members do not have Facebook® or WhatsApp® accounts. The number of faculty members connected only through Facebook® accounts is ________.

Correct answer: (A) 35

Explanation

Of the 150 members, 30 have neither account, so 120 have at least one. The 85 on WhatsApp include the 55 who have both. Those left, who are on Facebook only, number $120 - 85 = 35$.
