Correct answer: 0

Explanation

At the ends of the interval $f(1) = 0$ and $f(2) = 0$. Between them $x > 0$, $x - 1 > 0$ and $x - 2 < 0$, so $f(x)$ is negative inside the interval. The largest value on $[1, 2]$ is therefore 0, reached at both ends.
