Correct answer: (A) 150 ns has to be inserted into the y-channel

Explanation

The trigger and sweep circuits together take $100 + 50 = 150$ ns before the horizontal sweep starts. To avoid losing the start of the signal, the vertical signal must be delayed by the same amount, so a 150 ns delay line goes into the y-channel.
