Six persons P, Q, R, S, T and U are sitting around a circular table facing the center not necessarily in the same order. Consider the following statements:
- P sits next to S and T.
- Q sits diametrically opposite to P.
- The shortest distance between S and R is equal to the shortest distance between T and U.

Correct answer: (C) R and U
Explanation
Put P at position 0 of six seats (0 to 5). S and T take seats 1 and 5, and Q is opposite at seat 3. R and U take seats 2 and 4. Whichever way S and T sit, the equal-distance condition holds only with R and U on the two seats next to Q (for example S = 1, R = 2, T = 5, U = 4). So Q's neighbours are R and U.
