Correct answer: (A) The 2nd February of that year is a Tuesday

Explanation

**Step 1: when does February have five Mondays?** February has 28 days in a common year, which is exactly four of each weekday. A fifth Monday needs a 29th day, so the year must be a **leap year** and 1 February must itself be a Monday. The Mondays are then 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.

**Step 2: the other weekdays.** With 1 February a Monday:
- 2 February is a **Tuesday**.
- Sundays fall on 7, 14, 21 and 28, which is **four** Sundays.

**Step 3: check the options.**
- **A.** "2 February is a Tuesday": true. ✓
- **B.** "Five Sundays": false, there are four.
- **C.** "1 February is a Sunday": false, it is a Monday.
- **D.** "All Mondays have even dates": false, 1, 15 and 29 are odd.

Answer **A**.
