Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (D) (P), (Q), (R) and (S)

Explanation

P&IDs include equipment symbols as well as instrument bubbles and connecting pipelines. P is a heat-exchange device; Q represents a positive-displacement pumping device; R is a centrifugal pump; and S represents a vessel with internal packing.

None of the four is excluded simply because it denotes process equipment rather than a measurement instrument. All four can appear in a P&ID. **Answer: D.**
