Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (A) 1-S, 2-P, 3-Q, 4-R

Explanation

Normally consolidated soil has **OCR = 1 (S)**. Quick clay has very high sensitivity, here **greater than 16 (P)**. Sand at critical state shears at constant volume, so **dilation angle = 0 (Q)**. High-plasticity clay has **liquid limit > 50 (R)**.

Thus **1–S, 2–P, 3–Q, 4–R**, **A**.
