A core cutter is 130 mm high with inner and outer diameters 100 and 106 mm. Its area ratio, to two decimals, is ______%.

Explanation

Area ratio is $100(D_o^2-D_i^2)/D_i^2=100(106^2-100^2)/100^2=12.36\%$. The height does not enter this ratio.
