Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: 1.49 to 1.51
Explanation
The hill-road formula gives $(30+R)/R=(30+50)/50=1.6\%$. The upper limit is $75/R=1.5\%$, so the smaller value controls. Compensation is 1.50%, leaving a 4.5% grade on the curve.
