Explanation
The vertical projection is5m high per metre width, giving horizontal force10·5·2.5=125kN. The vertical component equals the weight of the circular segment: area=25π/6−25sin60°/2=2.26465m², so FV=22.6465kN. The perpendicular components give resultant sqrt(125²+22.6465²)=**127.03kN per metre width**.
