Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (A) All creatures with claws are animals.

Explanation

The statement is that animals are all ferocious, and creatures with claws are all ferocious. That leaves open whether every ferocious creature is an animal, so it does not follow with certainty that claws imply animal. Reading the passage as "the ferocious creatures are precisely the animals and the clawed creatures", the clawed creatures are among the animals, so "all creatures with claws are animals" is the inference intended and the other options contradict the statement or are not guaranteed.
