A component passes sequentially through five workstations with cycle times 85,55,90,65,70 seconds. Find steady-state mass-production output per hour (integer).

Correct answer: 40 to 40
Explanation
The slowest station is the bottleneck at 90 seconds/component. Once the line is filled, output is one component each 90 seconds. Rate = 3600/90 = **40 components/hour**.
