A circular rod of length 2 m has flexural rigidity 2000 N·m² and pinned ends, under axial compression P as shown. Find elastic critical buckling load in N, nearest integer.

Explanation
Pinned ends give effective length L = 2 m. Euler load is $P_{cr}=\pi^2EI/L^2=\pi^2(2000)/4=4934.80$ N, rounding to **4935 N, A**.
