Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: 1.40 to 1.45

Explanation

Drainage coefficient conventionally expresses depth removed in 24 hours. Daily volume is $2.8(86400)=241920$ m³. Divide by $16.95\times10^6$ m² and convert metres to centimetres: $D=241920/(16.95\times10^6)\times100=\mathbf{1.43}$ cm/day. The source omits the day from its requested unit; the keyed calculation uses this daily convention.
